It wasn’t just engineering; it was an experience. Before choosing civil engineering I got a lot of why’s and how’s being a girl. Initially I felt very nervous, but I am really glad I chose Civil here. We were guided by highly accomplished professors who were ever ready to mentor us. Never did I find myself stuck with a concept. Never did I hesitate to approach any professor. It was a perfect blend of strictness and warmth. A lot of it also consisted of peer learning and consider myself lucky to have found friends for a lifetime. It was an unforgettable journey and I am glad I got to spend my engineering life at M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering.

Myself Maaz Quraishi alumni of MHSSCOE, having an excellent academic and extra curricular record. I was not lucky and luck is never in your hands but decisions are, so choose wisely while making life choices. Life at MHSSCOE have given me ample opportunities to grow and connect with industry professionals. Especially the Civil Engineering department has learned scholars and experienced technical staff to bolster the strong engineering foundation of every student. I am proud to be an alumnus of MHSSCOE.

Being an alumnus of the Civil Engineering Department of MHSSCE I feel it is among the best department, as it has very good coordination, teaching, and interaction with the students. It has given me a lot of opportunities like to be a Joint General Secretary of CES, WDC coordinator, and TPO coordinator, these positions helped me to develop my confidence, teamwork, and leadership qualities for the outside world. The department supported me with my research skills which allowed me to publish an international paper, enhancing my interpersonal skills. Civil engineering is an excellent course it has truly changed my career trajectory for the best and joining the civil department of MHSSCE it improved my technical knowledge. The teaching staff guided me at every stage of academics and now I am pursuing my M.Tech from VJTI, so I am really thankful for their efforts made. I have one of the best experiences in college and I will always cherish it.

It was my immense luck and fortune to be the part of A.I. MHSSCE. where I can grow. The entire faculty and Civil Engineering department leaves no stone unturned to shape one's future. My Three years at A.I MHSSCE have been a wonderful experience of learning with prolific exposure to outside. Huge respect, love and devotion for entire faculty members and department. It's their efforts that make me to count myself into better professionals. I have established my leadership, time management and team empowering skills and have also been able to advance these skills to the whole new augment level. Lastly I would say i have met with my second family here and had unforgettable memories for whole life.

Being an alumni of M.H.Saboo siddik college of engineering, I have been greeted with respect in the Industry. Institute is known for its senior and highly qualified professors, especially civil engineering department who have the best teaching methods and approach in the University. Although placement services need significant improvement, Modern lab equipments, focus on practicals, industry visits, special lectures from industry professionals and hands on experience of working on survey projects has proved to be a perfect launch pad for civil engineering graduates.

I will cherish those four years throughout my life. I am now employed as a full time faculty in Anjuman I Islam's Kalsekar technical campus.

Civil Engineering Department of MH Saboo Siddik College of Engineering offers a combination of learning, fun and integration of lasting principles. As a civil engineering student, it offers a wide range of fields and therefore I learned something new with each subject. The entire study environment allows a student to learn and inculcate the spirit to excel among talented and hard-working students. What surprises me is the number of extracurricular activities offered by the Department, encouraging each student to explore and pursue their additional talents. The Department handles both areas extremely well and a student always finds himself in a group of endless opportunities, whether technical or non-technical. Another highlight of the department are the teachers who impart quality education to their students. Never does a student find himself lost in a concept and the teachers can not guide him.

Department always support students to participate in different education competitions, such as paper presentation, best planning competition. I had lived almost half of my life at MHSSCE. I still remember the first day of admission when I was the last candidate and my mother had not brought the fees with her to deposit and she requested the management and they blocked the seat for me with in their own faith. MHSSCE culture had developed in me a very important trait and that is hard work which always pays. No ego problems among the faculties. Final year project students are assisted by not only the particular guide allotted to the group. They are open to guidance from all the faculties and expertise of the entire department. Mentoring was never a problem in Civil Department. The atmosphere in MHSSCE civil department was so congenial that the students can share their problem with all faculties and they were ready to help us in every way that they can. Never I have forgotten those four years of emotional attachment to my college and love for my faculties. Always ready to teach in lunch break also the subjects to us.

My time at MHSSCE truly changed who I am and who I still want to become professionally and personally. The culture at MHSSCE fostered the sharing of ideas, critical discussions, and collaboration among students and faculty across a wide range of interests. I think it’s rare to find to have a large group of people with entirely different methodological and theoretical backgrounds enthusiastically discuss a common topic. At MHSSCE that happened every week. What I loved about the MHSSCE faculty was that they always entertained new ideas no matter where they came from; even if, and especially when, they were challenging to their own work. But I did not only learn from them. I learned equally much from my fellow students who became my friends and family and with whom I still work with and learn from today.

It has been indeed a delightful experience to be the part of M.H.SABOO SIDDIK COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING till now. Regarding to my FE experience about faculty in teaching the subject, it was excellent. The entire faculty in FE has great knowledge in their respective fields. Almost every teacher has a good teaching experience. They also clarify every doubts in the class itself and they are also very helpful in other issues for progressive life.
